Organic Farming Promotion

Organic Farming Promotion

Manjula Cultural Trust is dedicated to building a healthier planet and fostering sustainable livelihoods through the active promotion of organic and natural farming practices. We work closely with small and marginal farmers, guiding them to shift from harmful chemical-based agriculture towards eco-friendly methods such as Zero Budget Natural Farming (ZBNF), vermicomposting, and the use of bio-fertilizers. Our initiatives include on-field demonstrations, farmer training programs, and awareness campaigns designed to highlight the long-term benefits of soil conservation, water management, and biodiversity preservation. By empowering farmers with sustainable techniques, we not only enhance soil health and crop quality but also help improve their economic stability, reduce production costs, and create a resilient farming community that thrives while protecting the environment.

Training & Awareness

We conduct workshops and village-level training sessions for small and marginal farmers, focusing on natural fertilizers, bio-pesticides, crop rotation, and water-efficient irrigation methods. Farmers are introduced to low-cost, chemical-free techniques that not only improve yields but also preserve biodiversity.
Technology in Agriculture

By introducing technology in millet and groundnut cultivation, we help farmers adopt modern tools while preserving traditional farming wisdom. These interventions improve productivity, reduce costs, and ensure better market opportunities for organic produce.
Environmental & Community Benefits

Organic farming improves soil fertility, conserves water, and reduces pollution from harmful agrochemicals. Beyond environmental gains, it strengthens rural communities by making farming more sustainable and profitable, thereby improving food security and livelihoods.
